Comcast Giveaway

Ok so I receive a directmail piece from Comcast that's all about the exciting "It's the Mcconnell giveaway" - okay, I forgive them for not capitalizing the 2nd "c" in our name, which directs me to a personalized website built just for me to find out about getting Starz for 6 months free with no catch!

So this morning I decide to take their bait and go to "my" website. I'm thinking what the heck, all the fine print says that I can add Starz to my package at no cost for 6 months and then at the end of 6 months it automatically terminates unless I contact Comcast to continue the service. Sounds simple enough. Sign me up!

To my surprise, I go to the website only to find out that I have to call 1-888-338-4703 to sign up. The same number that is printed on my directmail piece that tells me to call if I have any questions about this offer.

Why waste my time and your money on setting up this website? No wonder we pay so much for their services!
